This year, I really wanted to get a good start, knowing it is a Solheim Cup year. Every tournament does count, and I literally took no time off during the off season. So, Im just really happy where my game is right now.Salas sits 23rd on the U.S. Solheim Cup points list. The top eight at the conclusion of the Ricoh Womens British Open (Aug. 6) qualify for the team. With a victory Sunday, Salas could vault as high as 12th on the points list.The top two players in the Rolex Womens World Rankings who arent already qualified for the American team after the Ricoh Womens British Open will also make the team. Two captains picks will be made by U.S. captain Juli Inkster at that time.If the U.S. team was set today, Solheim Cup veterans Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel, Christina Kim and Ryann OToole would join Salas as players needing to be captains picks to make the team.
